There is onsen on hotel property -- it was my first onsen experience, and not a good one! Water wasn't hot, heaters were present but not turned on, overall it was disgusting. Staff were disorganized but well-intentioned, rooms were spacious but fairly dusty and run down.

Rooms are not clean, equipment is not working, Onsen is cold and bed is uncomfortable.

Well its just a place to stay and sightsee Nikko , The view from the room is good but thats it . Id check other places in NIKKO bettter to use a Japanese web booking engine or Go to Nikko walk down the main street and find a place.

this hotel is rather well situated and nice but the maintenance is very bad; our room was not clean: the carpet was not cleaned up and the table was really dirty! For 11000 yens a night, it's really unacceptable !!
