I rented a single room with shared bathroom. The room was a very small (fits only a bed). The hotel is located next to a busy street, so bringing your own earplugs might be a good idea. The lady from the reception spoke barely English. So if you dó not speak fluent Spanish, please be aware. She didn´t give me any map, but only pointed me towards Zocalo. Taxco has many little streets and I could not find my way back to hotel without a map, until I ran into someone who gave it to me.

Cute place, terraces to enjoy the views are a major plus. The staff are very kind, and it´s only a short walk to the center. A bit out of the way, but nice to have more locals around you then other tourists. I didn´t meet other young travelers, more family´s and other mexicans, but it´s a nice change of pace for the reason. Some rooms are small, but they serve their purpose and are traditionally decorated.

The hostel locates at the main street of Taxco, 4-5 minutes from the bus station (Mexico city-Taxco). The staff is nice and helpful, but still difficult to communicate in English. Clean and safe. However, the internet speed is not good, and the worst thing is that the noisy of the cars on the street almost never stop.

My best mate had his Ipod stolen from his room. He had only left for 45 mins. Had been using it just before he left. We know the only person to have been in the room was the Older lady cleaner and the younger guy cleaner (17-20 yr old) during this period so it was pretty obvious who stole it. The hostel owners were no use at all and even tried to blame me and my girlfriend for the missing Ipod! Very upsetting. Don't stay here!!!
