just got back from Paris the hotel was amazing very clean, we traveled via the eurostar from London and got off at Paris Nord sta. and were able to walk to the hotel, the staff was great, the room was clean and nice, breakfast every morning nice, and the location allowed us travel every where we wanted to go ! I'm coming back and I will definetly stay here again. Mark & Aleah USA

Our stay at the Recroy was wonderful, very happy. Lovely room. The hotel has a little elevator (which I understand is not common in Paris!), was good since we were on 5th floor. Breakfast was excellent & inc fresh croissants, fruit salad, baguettes, brie cheese, ham, fruit compote. Do get there early though as the kitchen lady (while she tries very hard!) finds it difficult to keep up. Location is great, within walking distance of Montmarte & a main train station. Free wifi. Overall great!

Location was good, room was very clean. Breakfast was great. It's only drawback: there was only 1 person to serve all the guests, so sometimes you need to wait to get clean dishes etc.

Fantastic place to stay in Paris! it's a 4 star hotel but when you book online it's incredibly cheap, extremely clean, strategic location, all facilities and (great) breakfast included.

Looked a bit worn. English speaking staff was excellent. Very close to Gare du Nord.

Fine place for couples. Very good cost benefit ratio... Problems: Only one lady to handle the whole breakfast made things a bit chaotic. Showers were flooded. Couldn't take a shower til the second night.

Room was small but clean and comfortable, bathroom was very good. Nice to have the free wifi which worked well. Hotel was easy to get to from Gare du Nord station and there is plenty to see and do close by.

An excellent hotel with good rates. The staff were very friendly/helpful and spoke French and English. The hotel is located on a quiet side street off main road and is easy to find from Gare du Nord (5 mins walk). The bedrooms are stylish and comfortable and the shower warm and high pressured. In previous reviews, guests have complained about the size of the shower. The shower is a bit compact but my boyfriend and I did manage to squeeze in there together. Excellent free breakfast!

It is an excellent small and economic hotel in Paris. The most benefit is the location, where is near the GARE DU NORD or the other metro station located in Blov. La fayatte. It only takes us 5 minutes to get to hotel from the above stations. Second, the room 407 we lived was clean and bright. The bathroom is private but the shower room is litte. I think a strong westen man will feel it uncomfortable, just like its small elevator...I have never seen such a small one before! I will choose again

The location is brilliant! It`s just a stone`s throw away from the Eurostar st you get off at-Gare du Nord. The people are friendly and it`s a value for money place. It has pool downstairs too.

the doors are so thin .especially in morning you wake up with the noise in the hall and the cleaning staff's vacuum cleaner .

Really nice budget hotel. Everything looks as if it's been updated recently. Private room was complete with a queen bed and grand bathroom, in addition to the yummy complimentary breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Location close to the train station, though not much else to do nearby. All-in-all, it was a nice break to take for myself away from the chaos of hostel life. Just what I needed!

Hotel Le Rocroy is well maintained and staffed with friendly and helpful people. The staff were fluent in English and French which was a great plus for us. Located 10 mins walk from a major train station allow you to use the Metro system with no challenges. Coffee shops and restaurants are within 5 mins walk from the hotel. We will definitely stay at Le Rocroy again. Sherwin and Shawnah (Dec 2011-Jan 2012)
