Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Liberia. The location, staff, and ambience were all wonderful. Whether lounging in the comfortable chairs in the patio area, sitting in the dining area, or in my room, i was always comfortable and appreciated the relaxed, tranquil atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, and for such a reasonable price! Will absolutely stay here again when I travel to the area.

Quite friendly and willing to be of assistance. My second experience in a hostel and will use them more in future travels. A suggestion The map and directions could use some clairification. And a sign out front would be a huge help.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ended up taking a day trip on our last day, but leaving our luggage at the hotel was not a problem. The room was clean and the central area was a comfortable spot to sit and relax or eat at the restaurant. The hotel is centrally located and the bus station is in walking distance. As described, there is no A/C and, although the ceiling fan created a nice breeze, it was 95 degrees outside and our room was warm. (For us, no hot shower was just fine.)

The owner, Warren, his son Eduardo and team member Johanna were outstanding customer service personnel. They each went above and beyond our expectations, to make our stay at the Hotel Liberia extremely enjoyable. The Hotel Liberia is centrally located, with very reasonable, modest accommodations. We would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel Liberia or to stay there again.

One disadvantage is the lack of hot water. The location is perfect - right around the corner from the main square of Liberia, walk to supermarket, internet cafe, shops, etc. Rooms are small, but clean, nothing special (it's a $28 per room anyway). You can hear some noise from streets if it loud (like motorbike ar similar), but good inside garden/eating space if you need to relax or have breakfast ($3-5 for fresh staff).

Had a great stay at Hotel Liberia! It is centrally located next to the town's main square with easy access to everything. Prices were very reasonable and the rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the owner, Eduardo, was amazing in helping to arrange everything from rental car to airport transport to Nicaragua bus reservations and anything required! I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit! Thanks guys!

Stayed there for three nights. Not much to do in Liberia but the buses in town make for some good day trips. The staff were all amazing to guests. Great food! Rooms were standard and well kept. Good deal for $20 a night private room. It says in the Lonely Plant that the hotel does not have wifi but they do and it was free to use. The common area was a nice place to sit at night and talk to other guest.

This seems to be the place to stay while in Liberia. It was well kept, the staff was very attentive, and the cheap breakfast was tasty. Our room was small, and one of the beds had a pretty thin mattress, but the other mattress was just fine. Overall, a decent place to sleep and relax while in transit, as I wouldn't suggest staying in Liberia any longer than you have to.

The hotel grounds are nice, the atmosphere relaxing, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. For $20 a night, what more could you ask for? We booked two single rooms in the Casona building. Each room had 2 double beds, a ceiling fan, and a TV.

Excellent staff. Great breakfast. Superb amenities. I've traveled all over the world, and this is by far the best deal I've gotten using HostelWorld.

Some staff speak English which really helped. There doesn't seem to be alot of tours offered out of this location. It didn't seem like there was anything to do in Liberia.

We only stayed here one night. The hotel was basic but clean and the location was excellent. The backyard was nice and the breakfast was good. Would have appreciated a fridge and a few more items on sale in the reception, but with the central location this was not really an issue. Appreciated the help with booking further transport for a good price. Would have stayed here again.
