Smoking in the hotel was still part of the European character; but the room, pillow, bedding etc were saturated with cig smoke. Staff moved me the next day to a much better room.

Room overlooking Lake Zurich was a nice touch. Staff was perfectly courteous and helpful at all hours. Wish we could have stayed for the vegetarian breakfast but we didn't have time. Good Location although it was hot and you couldn't open the window for the noise. Breakfast was very poor compared to other hotels. Expensive but it\'s Zurich. Very close to train station and central area. Make sure you find out where you are going first. I got very lost. Very helpful staff, especially the nice lady who works in the breakfast restaurant. She helped us making sandwiches when we overslept and were late for our train. The location is really good, close to the train station and everything you need to see in Zürich.
