Great location and helpful staff. Easy walking distance from train station and to the Matsumo Castle. Plenty of food and shopping in the area. Next door to a shrine. On the river. Had lovely view of city and castle from my 7th floor room for my stay. Liked the slippers and robe, one free coffee/tea package in room. Only downside is that free Internet WiFi is only in the lobby. 3rd party fee service on the room floors. Included all-you-can-eat Japanese breakfast buffet was great too.

The room is clean but small. The staffs can speak English and helpful. Breakfast is Japanese styie , nothing special. The price is cheap for Japan.

Excellent Hostel. Staff very helpful. room had good views of the castle too!

Very close to the JR train station (only about 5 min walk) The Matsumoto Castle is about 4 mins walk from the Hotel & you can buy discounted tickets at reception. Room was one of the biggest we staying in while in Japan, very clean & tidy but could do with an update. Breakfast is all Japanese style, make sure you get there early to get a table. No internet in room but there is WiFi and a computer available in the lounge at reception.
