We arrived at Hotel Mack at 2100 on Friday to be informed they had overbooked and we had no room there but had to drive 2 km to another place where they had arranged a room. not many hostels in stuttgart but if i had to pick one it would be Hotel mack due to the location from the Main streets and "party mile" ( 10 mins walk or 1 stop on ubahn) rooms are a bit small but its fine for a couple nights stay. stuttgart is very quiet during the week, nightlife wise. only a few places open along the party mile and they were pretty quiet but good for a relaxing drink.not many hostels in stuttgart but if i had to pick one it would be Hotel mack due to the location from the Main streets and "party mile" ( 10 mins walk or 1 stop on ubahn) rooms are a bit small but its fine for a couple nights stay. stuttgart is very quiet during the week, nightlife wise. only a few places open along the party mile and they were pretty quiet but good for a relaxing drink....Close

I had made a booking through hostel world, but when I arrived at the reception, my reservation was not in their system! Even though the lady found a document afterwards confirming my reservation, this somehow did not make it to their booking system. A pretty bad start for an otherwise ok hotel very close to the Stuttgart main station. Luckily they had a spare room for me. Great hostel,fantastic location,pretty sure they should pay rent in the train station they're so close. Family environment if you want that: VERY reasonably priced... We were 3 fun girls though and stuttgart suited us. So heed my advice....
