A little out of the way, but in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Owner was great! Would def go back
Very good value for the money. Staff/owner was very nice and accommodating. A bit off the main drag so its much easier to get a quiet nights sleep.
Very nice little hotel in a nice relax corner of the town. It might seems out of place at first sight, but its a well maintain, nice owner and you will be surprise by the rooms! The french owner is very nice and there to help you. This place is a must go if you want a nice hotel, at a descent price. You will meet people and definitely enjoy the common kitchen area. We will, go there next time in Tamarindo!
A bit far from the main street, you can get there walking in 5 minutes but at night if you go out it might be a little dark when you come back... Good hostess Cecile, very helpful and kind. Quiet hostel, not a party one but nice. Clean and nicely decorated room with private bathroom. Good choice but there are better in town.
The owner of the hotel is very warm and welcoming. She helped us with any questions we had and was happy to do so. The room was spotless and the atmosphere laid back. It was a 4 minute walk from the beautiful beach so it was much quieter than another spot we stayed at. Totally awesome sleep!!

Facilities we're decent, room was pretty good with an excellent shower. There is a night guard, which is a good thing since it's located on a dark dirt road. Staff was too pushy on tours upon check-in: we had a rental car and still he tried to talk us into a tour with transport arranged to a far flung place (90 minutes drive), that just doesn't make sense. If you can find a staff member, they're friendly and helpful, but 'reception' is behind the place, so not as approachable as you'd expect.
