The only reason atmosphere did not rate 100% is that it is a hotel, not a hostel. Otherwise, it is a super place.

Any trip in Albania is not complete without staying in this hotel. Fantastically restored old ottoman building, with beautiful walled garden and open air restaurant. Fantastic room. The best service we experienced on our trip in Albania and the staff needs an extra compliment for this. Nice breakfast. Highly highly recommended!!!

it's a beautiful hotel with excellent food and friendly staff. clean, well located and really good value for money.

An excellent reasonably priced hotel just inside the old town and an easy walk to the bus station. Staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. I had a lovely room with ensuite, TV, aircon, WIFI overlooking a small interior garden. There is a rooftop restaurant where food is cheap and guests are friendly.

Excellant hotel. Great location , spotless rooms. Breakfast was good. Romantic setting.

Excellent place - typical Albanian climate, the centre of Berat, good rooms and very familiar owner. The only minus is that waiters are a little bit slow and you should wait for a beer too long ;-)
