A very decent low-cost B&B. The proprietor is adorable, and although he doesn't speak a lot of English, he makes you feel completely at home. He even gave us a bunch of complimentary fruit as a gift! The rooms are massive, as are the bathrooms, though they can be a bit drafty. Very good location - close to the train station, and walkable to everywhere else in Florence. I would come back here.

The toilet was pretty much in the shower, it was weird. The room was noisy, whenever someone walked past in the hall the door banged. It was also really hard to find, the numbers on the street are all messed up. The guy at reception was nice.

Hostel was run by a charming gentleman, greeted me with fresh fruit and always welcoming when returned to the hotel. More like hotel than hostel, was not a social hostel for meeting people but comfortable and pleasant stay. Rooms bit dated however was very clean. Great location, short walking distance to all historical areas.

The owner could not have been nicer! He greeted us every time we came in and out of the hostel. We felt very safe, had our own sink in our room, room was spacious, had 3 bathrooms and there aren't a lot of rooms so getting an open bathroom was never a problem.

Mr Marcella was very nice and friendly. Even we arrived really late at night, he was patient and helpful. He also gave us fruits as presents. Though the facilities seemed a little simple, this hotel was suitable for travelers for it was quite and suitable for rest and really close to the main train station of Florence.

We aren't that fussy, so this place was fine for us. We had a big room and was fairly comfortable durign our stay. It's located not too far from the main ares- within walking distance. Also really close to train station. As everyone else said the old man on the front desk was so nice. Doesn't speak much English but enought to help us when we needed it.

We are so glad that we picked this hostel. It was our first hostel experience, and we were very happy with it. The little old man who runs it is adorable and was waiting at the door for us with a plate of bananas. It is just down the street from the Duomo and walking distance from everything we wanted to see. It was simple and quiet and perfect for us. I would definitely stay here again.

hostel is really near Firenze SMN train station if u are arriving by train, and also only a 5 mins walk from the Duomo. Restaurants near the hostel area seem to be better value than near the main tourist attractions as well. wifi is free, though connection can be a little sketchy. there is no lift, so be prepared to walk up 3 storeys! the hostel owner is a really kind and sweet old man who made our stay very pleasant. it's an excellent hostel to stay in florence!

Extremely kind owner, very very sympathetic and helpful. Very clean, good wifi, good bathroom, big bedroom. There is no elevator but Ok.
