Very clean, the room was great for such a low price, and we had a safe,a fridge and a nice clean bathroom. Location absolutely perfect, not too far from the beach, the ferry port and just a few metres from Hidalgo street. Recommended.

Good location, very clean, nice staff. Only complaint: The loud music at the bar across the street. The music starts at 10pm every night and goes until 1am.

We actually ended up staying in the Marcianito's sister hotel: HOTEL XBULU-HA. We booked the Marcianito through Hostelworld but when we arrived were told we were in the sister hotel. Very glad too, as the Xbulu-Ha was VERY MUCH nicer than the rather grotty room at the Marcianito that we saw first. I'd recommend staying at the Xbulu-Ha - nice, clean room with air-con, fan, large, comfy bed & big bathroom. I wld definitely NOT recommend staying at the Marcianito itself tho! Check with the hotel B4

Great hostel to stay at- close to everything and reasonably priced!! It did get noisy the first night we were stayed because the bar next door was playing music until 3am, but other than that we really enjoyed it!!

Price worthy hotel in a good location with friendly personnel. Slightly noisy on top floor since there is a bar opposite the hotel.

This hotel is great. The woman who runs it is super nice and was happy to speak Spanish with me even though I am not very good with the language. Her son was around as well and though he is only about 8, he was wonderfully helpful and pleasant. The location is fantastic because you are walking distance of everything -- great/cheap food, the waterfront walkway and the white beaches. . I would recommend bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, but this is the case for the whole island.

we've done so much in so little time, it's hard to remember, room was what a Hostel is, good, clean, good bath room, could use a fan, no a/c, not for this money. Was a good place to lay the head for overnite, location was bery good as well.

Simple but clear and well equipped, quite large room. It is a bit noisy however it is absolutely in the center, near to the bars and the beaches too. It is worth the money.

This is a great location, but I think I should have stayed in a hostel. The room was not worth the $35 dollars to me - the fan worked fine and there was a TV, but the sheets were stained, the shower door didn't close, and I had to ask for the bathroom to be cleaned because it hadn't been before they showed me to the room. It didn't seem much cleaner afterwards, but at least some things had been wiped down since the last guest. I would trade the extra amenities for cleaner facilities.

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in a bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom. It\'s a decent hostel that feels more like a hotel. It\'s pretty clean and near everything (restaurants, ferry, shops). I would only caution those who are looking for a quiet place to stay...this is not the place, it is right next to bars & restaurants and there\'s music playing until late at night. Wouldn\'t mind staying there again.

The hostel was alright except they didn´t provide towels, even after we asked about them. Then the next day they cleaned our room before we had checked out and left 2 towels for the next 2 people checking in. Also, they made us pay full price saying they didn´t get the deposit that we made through Hostelworld.

if you want a nice, private place to stay while on isla mujeres then this hotel is absolutely value for money. clean, comfortable and right in the heart of the puebla. it was perfect for the lovely, and peaceful, weekend away from cancun that we wanted.

A nice place to stay but not atmosphere or interaction with other guests.
