I wasn't expecting much from this place, but i expected better. The accommodation was very basic even for the price of €50 a night. Also the wifi didn't work and the breakfast was an additional €6 which I think is a bit expensive. I've stayed in hostels for €25 or €30 euro a night that had breakfast included and also had much more character than this place. i really couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The stuff is very impolite and not nice at all, the rooms are small but they are okay, the location is very good though, close to the center.

All in all it was a good hotel and the beds were very comfortable. Also, the location is great! Only two things to complain about. First: The hotel staff told us we would have wi-fi in our room but that was not true. At least not for the people living on the fourth floor. Second: My friend and I left some snacks in our room and when we came back something had been eating it. Toothmarks on the chocolate. I'm hoping it was mice and not big scary rats...

Nice place, very well located, close to the Leidse PLein, close to the Museum Plein, Supermarkets, Pubs and Coffeeshops around. The breakfast should have more options of fruits and juices. The staff is very calm. In the reception, they teach us how to move around and find whatever we want. I would stay there again for sure.

Well, the worst part was the Staff (not all of them). I had to ask clean service 3 times and nobody come. It's normal if you shared a room sometimes it's not 100% perfect, but if you ask for a clean service and nobody goes, that's a big point in your stay. Also is weird, It's look like a hotel that the owners don't care about it. It was difficult to sleep for people who were drinking or partying in the room at 2Am. You can hear it in all the floor but main desk... (?). A point: Excelent area.

Good cozy room right next to a canal. Unattractive beds and very cold. However, they had set an extra element so temperature was quite ok. I liked my stay at this Hostel although it was quite expensive.

I think it was too expensive for the service. The hotel in general had a bad look. Narrow and ugly stairs. The bathroom was shared. They said to include the breakfast but we needed to pay 6€ each for a very poor buffet.

This hostel was very expensive. The rooms are in a separate building down the street from the reception and are not clearly labelled. Our room was not ready an hour after earliest check in time, we had to wait in the hall while our room was cleaned. We were not given a key and had to request one. One bathroom for all of the rooms on the floor. It does not feel very secure as there are two doors at street level which do not close properly with no reception to keep watch. The breakfast is bad.

I found my stay overall ok all staff i was talking to where great, really helpful and friendly apart from one member of staff who while i was using the computer at reception he was hoovering the floor an repeatedly hit my chair and legs pretty hard with the Hoover multiple times which made me feel uneasy and leave when i got printing done and continue my internet usage in my room . Overall im happy with my stay apart from the annoyance at reception all good

Location is somehow good, it is close to Leidsplein but far away from Dam square if you are walking everywhere. There are no lockers in the rooms, that s the biggest weakness of the hostel. but overall it s fine.

Staff was unflexible and not very polite. The room was extremely small and I doubt that there was more than 10 m2 for 4 persons (beds included) On the other hand the room is a good place to sleep, nothing more, northing less. Smoking is strictly forbidden and there is no smoking room and absolutely no tolerance. So if you want to smoke prepare to do this outside (While normal, this would have been useful for us) . Location is great!

It wasnt the room on the picture. There were only a few beds in a room with no toilet and no bathroom.

It is very unpleasant to discover that there is a fee of 5% if you want to pay by creditcard! This was not mentioned anywhere before and there is also another tax of 5% for the city. This means that the price you pay on Hostelworld can have a 10% difference with the real price. Concerning the room, it was ok, but not a lot of space for 4 people and you don't have the "Free" WIFI. You don't go there to chill but just to have a place to sleep for sure.

The hotel was better than expected, except for the nights... The walls are so thin you wake up every time someone climbs the stairs or talks in the other room. When people were running up and down the stairs, it felt like the whole building was moving. If you don't plan on partying till dawn, you won't get much sleep here.
