The double bed is in definite need of replacement, the shower was tiny. I'm 2m (6'7") and it was tough for me to shower correctly without bumping into one of the walls. Pretty clean though and the wifi is decent. Venice is expensive, so this was a decent option for the price. It's close to the train station too, which makes it convenient. Breakfast not included, which is a joke. Not much going on around the hotel either, super quiet area, although kinda run down looking.

Fantastic owners. Very nice place. Bed was comfortable, patio was nice, very clean place. The location feels really like you are part of the neighborhood. It is not in the Island of Venice, but very close by and transportation is great.

This is a great place to stay. It is a two star hotel at a very good price for its location (300m from the bus or train, in 20 min you are in Venice). The room was very comfortable with very new bathroom. Everything was cleaned and tidied daily. The lady in charge speaks english and is very helpful and kind. For a small price you can also have breakfast (reserving it the day before). Around the hotel it is quiet and residential, there are a few modest, restaurants and cafes.

Perfect location for the money. The train station was less than a 10 minute walk to get to Venice. The wifi was not working when we arrived, but the staff got it working quickly. The hotel was very clean and the room was large. Couldn't figure out how to work the a/c, but could have asked! We would stay here again!

This is a hotel. The woman that runs it is very pleasant and will explain everything you need to know very clearly. They clean the room everyday. The only problem we had was there were mosquitos in the room but that was probably a unique situation. All in all a good experience and it is easy to get into Venice from here (10 min).

Do not take bus 15 as it no longer use the route to get to the hotel. Instead (if u have loads of luggage and don't feel like walking), go on the city tram which is next to the train station and get off at the next stop. Look for the tram direction heading to Marghera. Its a no frills hotel with a clean bed and towels, good enough for a sleep and shower. Room is clean and they do change your towels daily. Didn't like the wet bathroom though, its small and doesn't come with a separate shower.

No family warmth for us, just all business. Not welcoming or friendly and the place had no life to it. Only for sleeping so we didn't care.

Lets just say, it's a hotel, not a hostel. It was very good for a hotel. But there was pretty much no atmosphere. And it was pretty expensive. Not really a place for a backpacker. If you are on vacation though it's quite good. If you are a traveller then no. It's close to the number 6 bus which takes you directly to Venice so location wise it's good too.

Very good hotel, only 300-400 m from Mestre train station! In 15 mins you arrive in Venice! Carla is adorable, the place is very clean and it really worthed to stay there instead of anyplace inside Venice (wich is much more expensive).

Good place to be in Venice Mestre, good value for pay, room very comfortable, there is supermarket, café, bus stop near the hotel.

my first impression of the area.. thought it looked a tad too suburban but did realise afterwards the area housed a number of hotels - made me feel better getting back at night due to tourist traffic. The interior furnishing of the hotel is fine... my single room a little old school but cozy (after hostelling for a few days, happy to get my own space & privacy). Just a 10-min bus ride away from Venice, all in all, guess it's a fair deal.

We are very satisfied. We really loved so stay in the hostel. If I know somebody who is going to Venice I will recommend this hostel.

This hostel was very clean and secure with nice staff. A quiack bus ride to Venice, it was very convenient place to stay close to the city.

Good location on the mainland. Facilities were adequate/clean/reasonable. Staff were a little abrupt but otherwise okay.

Out of all the hostels I've stayed at in Europe this was the best. The lady was very friendly and she have us great directions on how to get around Venice. I made a mistake with my booking where I fronted up a day early and she was able to accommodate us and was just super cool about everything. Her customer service was exceptional. I will definitely stay there again and will strongly recommend it. Best location. It's ten minutes to the city on the bus so it's quite at night away from the city

The hotel is not anything spectacular, but does the trick. Basically it's clean and comfortable enough to be worth the money. The only thing is that you are definitely not staying in glamorous Venice. You are in a somewhat eerie ghetto area near the train station that you can ride into Venice which only takes about 10 minutes.
