My daughter and I were so pleased with the location, CLEANLINESS and helpful staff at Hotel Martello! EASY to and from Venice by bus (leaves every 10 min from nearby bus stops). Nice quiet street, (may I mention the amazing Kabobs nearby in town?!)- it gave us a sense of what it would be like to live in this beautiful part of the world!

Hotel is not far away from the train, it took us 15 minutes to find the place. The lady who helped us check in was very helpful and welcoming, provided a map+information on how to get to Venice via train/bus. She also provided a wifi card. The room was clean, nothing fancy, warm, beds aren't bad. Shower was warm 50% of the time. Wifi only worked by the door or in the lobby and only for two devices. Getting into Venice was easy on train. Good for a budget, decent place to sleep.

The double bed is in definite need of replacement, the shower was tiny. I'm 2m (6'7") and it was tough for me to shower correctly without bumping into one of the walls. Pretty clean though and the wifi is decent. Venice is expensive, so this was a decent option for the price. It's close to the train station too, which makes it convenient. Breakfast not included, which is a joke. Not much going on around the hotel either, super quiet area, although kinda run down looking.

Fantastic owners. Very nice place. Bed was comfortable, patio was nice, very clean place. The location feels really like you are part of the neighborhood. It is not in the Island of Venice, but very close by and transportation is great.

This is a great place to stay. It is a two star hotel at a very good price for its location (300m from the bus or train, in 20 min you are in Venice). The room was very comfortable with very new bathroom. Everything was cleaned and tidied daily. The lady in charge speaks english and is very helpful and kind. For a small price you can also have breakfast (reserving it the day before). Around the hotel it is quiet and residential, there are a few modest, restaurants and cafes.
