This hotel is run by a very sweet Italian family. The husband was very accommodating when we got in and gave great directions, and also allowed us to leave our luggage in the hostel after checkout before our flight. About staying in Mestre- Venice is very expensive and you will save money staying in Mestre, the mainland. We felt safe, even at night, and it is only a short bus or train ride away, which were virtually free..no one ever checked for a ticket. Worth the small inconvenience.

This is a great place for solo travellers. While not in the centre of Venice, it couldn't be a simpler commute. Only 10minutes on the bus which is right around the corner from the hotel.

Very nice and affordable hostel. The receptionist was very informative and kind. It was right next to the train station where you can get a train that takes about 15 minutes to city area. Highly recommend staying here

Was easy to get to venice with only a short train ride, and the station was only a 5 min walk. Only place I stayed in that had a full sized shower which was nice. Free wifi was nice but you could only use it on two devices which was odd, it should be unlimited for while you are there. We booked a three person room and one of the beds was a cot so that was disappointing. Also, the woman was ok, but not the friendliest. She never talked about breakfast so we almost missed it!

A nice little hotel. But more could be expected for the price, considering its almost 10 minutes walk to the Mestre train station.

A very nice little hotel on the mainland, just a quick (10-minute) train ride from Venice. It is easy to reach by bus from the airport and is only about two (American-length) city blocks from the Mestre train station. Very helpful staff and clean rooms.

Brilliant place to stay, very close to trains, even closer to the bus that takes you to venice (which is faster). Rooms were spacious and clean. But the best part was the owner/hostess, she gave us everything we needed, printed things for us, helped us organise the rest of our italy trip - very awesome.

You get what you pay for! The hotel is located a bit outside Venice but there's good connections with both trains and buses. It takes about 15-20 minutes and you're at Santa Lucia railway station or Piazzale Roma! The owners are very helpful and will explain how to get to Venice. The rooms is ok, comfortable beds, nothing really to complain about. There's in no restaurants nearby so if you don't have breakfast at the hotel closest place is the railway station where you have McDonald's and cafees

Very good hotel, probably one of the best for this price range in Venice. Just don't expect a warm welcome or friendly staff, beside of that the hotel is excelent.

My boyfriend had checked in the afternoon and the only thing the owner wanted from me was my passeport whereas I was in agony, I just wanted to lie down I had fever. She didn't provide me anything even not a tea during the day whereas they provide breakfast. Our clothes were soaked from terrible weather and the accessible heaters work only a few hours per day. The rest of the hours the bathroom is freezing. The heaters in the room are on the ceiling and wake u up. She kicked us out @11am sharp
