It's hard to fully qualify that place as it is very patchy and depends on where you stand in the hotel! It seems the place is being refurbished starting from the top down, so the "highest" you are in the hotel the better it is. The rooms on the last 3 floors are actually quite nice and good value for money, but when you get to the ground floor reception / breakfast room, it's falling apart a little bit. Having said that, I'm really quite happy with my stay here and will stay here again.

Great location, very clean room, but there was no lounge area to relax in when we arrived before check-in.

Room 64 is way too small, and there is no need to propose us first with a 2 single beds room first (though we didnt ask for that when we booked) to make us think that this is our choice if we decide to get a small room. Also, the breakfast is a bit random about pastries. The first days we had none, the second we had pain au chocolat+croissant, and on the third morning we only got pain au chocolat because the cleaner told us we were only allowed one. So what's your policy about that?

Very convenient as it is about a 5 minute walk from the Grand Place, however if you take the stairs, the first 3 flights are very rickety and pretty scary. However, when you get to the 3-5th floors, it turns into a completely different place. Rooms are very accomodating and comfortable.

It is an hotel that's why you can not expect a good atmosphere for meeting people. However, is very chep for what you receive, it's very close to the main area, very cleaned, and the wifi goes perfectly. The staff was very kind and helpfull.

Good value for money hostel. Ideally located, equiped with elevator, wifi, extra blankets. In the last floor rooms are small but confortable. The only mattering drawback to my mind is that In winter you should not be afraid of cold as there are some dratfs in the room. Break-fast served to guests is basic though generous.

The Hotel staff vas very nice and helpful. The room was absolutely ok but without proper heating. That was kind of a problem since it was February. Maybe this is calculation? Because even after the radiator was checked several times by the maintenance guy (who came admittedly quickly every time), it would not be more the lukewarm, which wasn’t enough to warm the room. Well, the facility itself is ok in this price category, but seemed to be under construction in several places. The location is ve

We unfortunately had an uncomfortable stay at Hotel Mirabeau. When we entered the bathroom, it was damp and there was hair from the previous occupants on the floor and tiles. When leaving and entering the room, the door handle came off and we noticed the hinges holding the door were loose. This gave us no peace of mind for our security. We were unable to turn on the heater, when I enquired at reception they said it would be on in an hour. The heater never came on. Severely dissapointed.

The building is really old and has some unfinished modifications. There was no heat in our room and when you use the shower, water fload into our room. Morover, we asked for a two size bed and we only had to little beds. The breakfast is very little and not tasty and there is no heat in the dining room so you have to eat with your coat and scarfs on. Only one people talks english or french in the hostel.

The receptionist was so bizarre I felt like I entered an Agatha Christie novel, but eventually his nicer colleague showed up. It's a typical budget hotel, nothing special, a litte dingy, but definitely clean and really good location. If you want a private room for a good price & no extras this is a nice option.
