Hotel Mirabeau is very basic indeed, nothing special about this hotel only the location to the Grand Palace. This hotel is a bit run down, it could do with a paint job and a proper clean. It is certainly quite basic, very standard and nothing special. You can certainly get more for your money elsewhere. The breakfast was nice but basic and the same applies to the room . Its not the Hilton thats for sure..... Hotel Mirabeau is very basic indeed, nothing special about this hotel only the location to the Grand Palace. Single room was small. Breakfast was poor. Some room neighbours ware babble, as if they were in the room. In spite of negativeness, location was perfect. There is a metro station in front and the many touristic places are in walking distance. Staff was too friendly and helpful. Single room was small. Breakfast was poor. In the beginning the hostel seemed a bit old-fashioned but when we came into the room, it was really nice! Staff is friendly and breakfast is good! The Mirabeau hotel is close to the centre of Brussels and convenient for the south railway station (Brussels Midi). I found the staff to be helpful and was happy to receive the service they advertised.
I would stay there again. Weaknesses I found were
1) One morning the shower water was rather cold
2) The Wireless (wifi) bandwidth seemed poor (slow)

This hostel was the worst place I have ever been. At first we booked a room with double bed, but when we arrived they had only a thiw bed room available. Secondly after our fisrt night there I woke up with my body all bitted by an insect and we found out later that aour beds, pillow everything was infested by ticks! Now I am with my face totally red and inflamated because I am allergic. These people are mixing things it doens't mean that if the place is cheap it shoud be dirty.This hostel was the worst place I have ever been. The hotel's location is superb, close to Brussels Midi train station and several important tourist attractions (walking distant). The room is rather small but generally clean. Basically, the price is fair for travellers on a budget. Breakfast is edible but be quick though coz they don't refill ham when it's gone!
