The ho(s)tel was in restructuring, so it was not in a perfect condition. However the room was clean, breakfast included and the hotel is very well located (5 min from Grand Place). Good Quality price. I will suggest it for young people, who don't want to spend too much (25€ pro person).

Very good location, easy walk to all main atractions as Brussels is very compact. The room on the 6th floor was spotless, fantastic view, however it was really cold. Luckily the shower was hot... Not a place to meet new people, like other travelers but it's ok for couples (seems the higher you are the better the rooms).

the room were a bit cold.. and one blanket was not enough for this coldness. but the rest was good.

Das Zimmer und das Frühstück waren o.k. Da dass Zimmer in der 5.Etage lag, musste man den winzigen Aufzug nehmen. In der 5. Etage ging aber die Lifttür nicht auf. Von der 6. Etage musste man dann zurück laufen. Um nicht Gefahr zu laufen, dass dies in anderen Etagen auch passiert, sind wir durch das Treppenhaus gelaufen. Leider wurden die anderen Etagen renoviert und die Sicherheit ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Kabel lagen über der Treppe und der Handlauf war nicht befestigt. Für 1 Nacht ging dies

If the hotel was as good as the location, it would've rated higher, however ou room the first night should have been condemned. The room was old & dirty. The bathroom, although private, was constantly occupied ...by black mold & possibly rats. we didnt use it for fear of contracting a tropical disease. Breakfast was below average & coffee tasted like dishwater. The Welfare guests looked as though they may beat you up for the last piece of toast. 5th floor better but had to complain...Too late!

Hotel Mirabeau is centrally located walking distance to Brussels palace and 10 minutes walk to the Midi train station, rooms are tiny but very clean, continental breakfast included, old fashion charm and staff is warm and friendly Definitely recomended if you travel on a budget Marcello & Christine Lynbrook, New York

The Hotel is in a perfect location, all the things to see were within the walking distance. Furthermore, outside differs from the onside, the first floor also looked very poor, but once we reached the room, we noticed that its newly eowated, clean and we didn't need to feel disgusted. The staff was really helpful, I would stay tere again.

Other than the great location, this place is not worth $80+ a night. It is not a hostel, contrary to any of the dozens of hostels I have stayed in - there is no common lounge room, there are only private rooms, and not a fun friendly atmosphere. It is just a cheap, bare bones, dirty hotel. As far as other hotels are concerned you cannot compare this to the Novotel, Best Western, or Le Meridian also in the center.The staff were helpful but didn't go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
