It is a nice place to stay, a lot of common spaces. Water came into our room when it rained but there was a table where we could put our packs so they did not get wet. The pool area is really nice.

Beautiful hostel with a swimming pool. I don't know why you'd stay anywhere else in Tupiza especially given the price. Breakfast is one of the best I've had on my travels. Only downside is the staff aren't very helpful so we went elsewhere to book the Salar tour. But would go back in an instant

Very nice hotel in the centre of town. Staff are very useful as linked to Tupiza Tours so can give you all the info you need. Rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was good with a large selection and better than most places in Bolivia.

While you most likely won't spend too much time in Tupiza (mostly a base for tours to the Salar de Uyuni), I'd highly recommend Hotel Mitru. The pool was great for relaxing, and the rooms are cheap - even the privates. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bread, and crackers with butter, jam, etc. WiFi was weak, but that seems to be par for the course in Bolivia. Great value.
