No wifi. Carpet on the walls. Down a tiny alleyway with no signage. We booked a double room but our bed was two singles pushed together. Great location though!

This is a very basic hotel but the staff are friendly and efficient. When our shower didn't work they arranged for it to be fixed within the hour. The carpeted walls and doors were unusual!

I have only good things to say about hotel Moderno. The hotel hasn't been renovated in a while, but hey, it's Venice! The rooms are timy, but the only thing I need is a clean bed and a private bathroom, and those I got. The location is great - you dont need to drag your belongings around Venice. The bus, train- and vaporetto stations are just around the corner. Staying in Hotel Moderno was absolutely value for money - for me it was a perfect budget option for staying in Venice.

The street is very narrow and difficult to find; the check-in and check-out must be done at other hotel which is very close. There is a quite cheap restaurant called "Brek" just next to the hotel. We booked a double-bed room but it had two small beds together instead.

the hotel is very comfortable. the drawback is just the check in place is in their sister hotel, so it is a bit confusing

It's difficoult to find out the place. The room was really small but clear and with private bathroom. The price is fair and if you are looking for a cheap room in the center of Venice this is your place. Staff was really polite and available.

We had our own room and bathroom, both of which were really clean. The bathroom was super nice! The room was very small, but it didn't need to be big. We only slept there. It's a bit confusing to check in. We had to go to another place down the street, which was super easy to find. But then we went to a different place to stay. We were showed where to go so it was no problem. Just a bit confusing at first, but not enough to make me not want to stay here again.

It is literally impossible to find this hotel. There is a tiny sign in the most narrow walk way that says "Hotel Moderno" I walked up and down the street for an hour looking for the hotel only to find that we had to check in at the sister hotel down the street. Waited for 20 minutes for someone to help us. The rooms were fine, at least clean. For the price it was okay, but there has to be a better value in a better location.

Great location and really quiet, extremely friendly stuff (especially the lady at the reception). Breakfast is buffet and if you decide to try it it is only 5 EUR extra per person. There was running hot water nonstop. The only concern was AC not working all the time (probably some mechanical failure) but then you can use the heating from the bathroom to keep your room warm.

We have stayed here for three nights and really have to say the location s quite good, but it was funny when u arrive the first time, perhaps this is typical Venice.. The way to the gate is a half meter narrow and called a "street" there ...lol..pretty .hard to find, but once you know, you won't forget that way.. Really nice experience in Venice and we enjoy the Stay here too.The room is cleaned everyday..you can see typical venice street just out from your wondow..And no wifi ...
