I decided to stay here when I couldn't find a hostel with very good reviews and it ended up being a great choice. Double what I would have normally spent on a room but it was clean, safe, perfectly located 200 meters from central station/metro and an easy 15 minute walk to the city center. It wasn't 5 stars or anything but I had my own little room which was a nice break from hostel dorms. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a safe and reliable place to stay for a night in Milan.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. My room was very quiet but if we consider where the hotel is located (main train station in Milan plus tramps on the streets) I was afraid to hear some noises in the night. The hotel offers breakfasts for €6 each. I can recommend the Monopole to every traveler.
