Delicious breakfast! Very steep stairs though... Was definitely worth it for the location!

This hostel is simply awesome. The location is perfect, at one step from the old canals and the red light district. I like when I can come back to my hostel and just rest without disturbtion. If you can choose your room number, take the 4th, is the best one, view on the street with a little balcony (the only one). The free breakfast was very good, eggs, toast, tea/coffee. It was just missing some fresh juice. The staff is very kind, and helpful. Its convivial and you can smoke in your rooms.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. It's definitely not THE best hostel in Amsterdam, but the location was great (near many restaurants and central station!). Also the free breakfast was very good!! I would highly recommend this hostel for large groups!

I have stayed here twice and have been very happy with the place! It is ideal for travelling with friends on a budget. it's a great place to stay if you're only looking for a clean and safe place to sleep while exploring Amsterdam because it is basic and cheap. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning includes tea, coffee, toast and eggs. This hostel is smoker friendly which is great if that is why you are coming to Amsterdam. Great location, 5 minutes walk from station

Great for the price. Nothing amazing, but what do you expect for the price? Would recommend.

The hostel was well run and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was included and this was good also, toast, cheese, eggs etc. I would happily stay here again and would recommend this to my friends. There are however some points that guests need to be aware of: very steep, narrow crooked stairs, few bathroom facilities and some of the rooms are smoking rooms. Ours was not but the smell of smoke from others drifted across the landing to our room.

The maintenance of the rooms is poor and the rooms are very congested. The infrastructure is not as expected. The water supply from bath showers is not good; either too hot water will come or too cold water will come. WI-FI acces is provided in the rooms, but no proper signal, only in the lounge access is good. The breakfast is good. As it is located near to central station it is easy to go any of the site seeing locations.

Considering the fact that Amsterdam is quite expensive Hotel My Home is relatively well-priced and offers an acceptable place to spend your nights - but bring ear plugs! The walls are made of paper and some guests can be pretty inconsiderate and noisy. The Hotel is more a hostel that offers an appropriate breakfast. You get a room with a bed and that's it! Don't expect anything more for your money. However, the staff is quite nice, casual and uncomplicated.

Every gest should be treated equally, the staff should leave the stereotyped questions behind.

Fantastic location, but only one toilet per floor with about 15 people per floor. Also the reception is only open at certain times regardless only opens at those times regardless of what time you say you will be arriving.

Very nice hotel/hostel. clean, but not the best showers seeing as the entire bathroom gets soaked. Staff are very friendly and gave us a bigger room than we were supposed to get when we arrived. Free breakfast which includes eggs! It is very close to Dam square and central station. Very nice hotel
