Cozy little hotel 2 streets away from the main street el conde; the staff was courteous and the hotel was quiet. Few small complaints: the hot tub on the top floor was broken and unusable, the shower was weak, there was a painting of Virgin Mary in the bed room (Catholic guilt? overall tone was gothic/black and her eyes and gaze were black as well, quite terrifying actually even though I am not of Christian faith) and the room had a distinct smell that wasn't pleasant .

Hostel Naemie was a wonderful experience. The only negative aspect of my stay was a malfunctioning safe on the last day, which caused quite a bit of panic, though the issue was ultimately resolved. Also, the table sugar had some insects in it. Other than that I had a great stay and would definitely return.

Thanks for an amazing start to our trip to DR! I can't pick a single thing about our stay at Hotel Naemie that I could be upset about. Your price is amazing for the amenities that you offer!

The staff was extremely nice and polite, particularly the cook. The property itself was lovely and idiosyncratic and from an aesthetic point of view, the color palettes were classy and not overdone like other conspicuously chic hotels in Sto domingo. amazing breakfast, quiet, peaceful!
