Our first time in Antwerp. Booked Hotel National as it seemed good value. Glad we did. Staff were friendly and very helpful with information on sites/directions. The room was simple and quiet sparse but very clean and quiet. Downstairs is a bar/restaurant when you have breakfast in the mornings. The new bar/restaurant had just been furnished and only opened a few weeks before we arrived. It was very light and decorated in a modern (hipster/retro) style. Buffet breakfast fuelled us for the day!
