Very friendly and helpful staff. Partially bilingual but still good enough to answer questions and help you get on your way. They serve food there also for cheap. The wifi was kind of spotty on where it worked at but at least they had free wifi that worked.

checked in easily at 3am. great security. spanish (no english) staff is helpful and relaxed. hostel has there own tour bus which provides a nice ride to the nearby volcano. room was huge, with perfect air conditioner and nice mattress, bathroom was clean with hot water. sheets were old but the tv was great. very nice place and a great value for the money! would recommend to anyone going to san salvador.
