Check in curfew at 11pm frustrating. Extremely basic facilites for the price - bit of a rip-off, unfortunately.

Nice place, helpful staff, good breakfast. Reasonable price for single rooms. If you are visiting Utrecht I recommend it. Easy bus ride or 10 min walk to nightlife and historic squares. From the train station there are north and south buses loading areas, so that can be a bit confusing to figure out. Once you find it, a #4 bus will get you there, ask to get off at F.C. Dondersstraat

Cosy and nice, big room, a lot of shelves, cupboards, fridge. Staff was very nice. The hostel even took credit cards (very rare think in the Netherlands). Nice common room, coffe, tea, some snacks, apples available any time, breakfast with a lot of choice, but no fruits. The Wifi in my room was quite weak,could do e-mails, could not skype. Did not like the shower (not movable, strangely pointed) and shampoo was a tiny drop. Not for people with walking problems (straight, narrow stairs).
