Hotel Paganini

The hotel is just 50 mts from the loreto stop on the red line and green line subway and from corso buenos aires, our hotel is located in a particularly favorable position with shop and cultural zones of milan. The central station is two subway stops away and piazza del duomo, the historic center of the city, is 5 stops away.

Still, the management goes to great lengths to keep this a clean, no-nonsense budget hotel: the guest rooms are large and bright, with high ceilings.
The shared facilities are modern enough and kept spanking clean by the owners (one of whom lived in sao paulo, brazil, for a number of years), who are happy to point their guests to restaurants and sights.

1) if you do not give us 72 hours notice of your 'no show' by e-mail or fax we will unfortunately have to debit your card. The amount charged will be your first night's accommodation

Please note that the italian law requires us to see a valid identificaton document upon check-in.
Citizens of e.u: passport or identity card
Citizens outside the eu: passport only.
If you can not provide one of these documents you will not be able to check-in.

For reservations with credit card with pre-authorization is not permitted, will be performed automatically cancel the reservation. The hotel does not guarantee room availability.

About pre-authorization.

1. What is a Pre-Authorization?
A pre-authorization is the standard way for hotels to temporarily hold a specific amount of the available balance on a credit or debit card.

2. Why does a hotel need to pre-authorize my card?
If a you would like to cancel a room that is booked wholly or partially on a �Free cancellation� basis you are required to do so in advance of the cancellation deadline.
As a room is set aside for each booking, if you do not show up at the hotel without canceling your reservation, the hotel will not be able to re-sell that room and will incur a loss.
For these reasons it can be necessary for the hotel to pre-authorize the card in order to guarantee future payment.

3. When does the Pre-Authorization get released from my Credit / Debit Card?
This depends on your individual credit or debit card.
Upon checkin from the hotel, your actual room charge will get posted to your card.
Once the actual charge is posted the pre-authorization is removed by the card company.
In most cases the pre-authorized amount is released before or once the real charge is posted - this can vary across card companies but the pre-authorization is normally removed within a maximum of 72 hours of the actual charge being posted.
