Nice place with great 'old building' features. Staff really keen to help even though they spoke no English (and my Spanish was not much). Great location for old city.

Lovely and charming hotel, friendly staff, best rooms no. 66 and 67, sadly no breakfast, very good wifi

Beautiful old building. Our room on the 6th floor had a great balcony overlooking the city. The staff, although they don't speak much English, are incredibly nice and helpful. Good location near the old city. A lot to do nearby during the day but most nightlife/restaurants are closed in the evening.

Very good location for those wanting to visit the Old Town (Ciudad Vieja). Also good for visitng other parts of the city, since there are numerous bus lines just around the corner. Nights were quiet.

Staff was perfect, we were warmly received by Mrs. Olga and well oriented and treated by everyone else, The hotel is very central, within walking distance to restaurants, cafés and relevant tour sites - such as Teatro Solís, Plaza Independencia, Mercado del Puerto and Plaza Constitución. Well served by many bus lines (there is no subway in Mvdeo), it is easy getting around in the city and even reaching the vineyards and the airport. We just didn't wander off after 22:00 on the old city area.
