This was a brilliant hotel to have a few relaxing nights. It is a walk from town, but the location and scenery made up for that. The current manager Jon could not have been nicer or more helpful and the same goes for his partner Linsey. A great place and an absolute bargain.

Paris Texas is a fabulous place. Supremely helpful and friendly staff. Pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Super clean and comfortable rooms. The location is a double edged sword: it's out of town (about 2km along a bumpy dirt road.) But this also means it has gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains (by far the best in Cafayate.) Sitting out on the deck with some wine and cheese in the evening was magical. If you're in Cafayate for more than one night this is a great place to stay.

We had a great ol´ time at the Paris-Texas. Perhaps "Cactus Jacques" would be a more appropriate name for these digs, considering the view. The place is modern, clean and spacious, equipped with a bar and located at a very nice setting just outside of town. On departure day, our host got up at 5:30 to make sure we had some coffee and breakfast before hitting the road. Good hospitality and a nice break from the average hostel scene.
