This was a fantastic place to stay on Isle de Margarita. The place is clean and well decorated, with real character. Michael (the host) was really friendly and helpful. Ideally located next to the beach and restaurants. All in all I think this is possibly the nicest hotel/hostel I´ve stayed in on my travels so far. A definite recommendation for anybody looking to do Isle De Margarita on a budget. This was a fantastic place to stay on Isle de Margarita. The place is clean and well decorated, with real character. Hotel Patrick has been my favorite place I've stayed on all of my Travels. Michael (the owner) is excellent. Will help you out with anything. Great place. The city isn't huge, but there is an amazing beach 5 min drive away (10 Boliviars). I'd highly recommend and I've stayed a lot of places.Hotel Patrick has been my favorite place I've stayed on all of my Travels. Michael (the owner) is excellent. Will help you out with anything. A very friendly and relaxed hotel right beside the sea and close to shops, restaurants, laundry, bakery, supermerket etc. The owners were really helpful and we met people from many different countries in the lively bar. And drunk many Margaritas :-) This is one of the best backpackers places I have ever stayed in. We liked very much the Hotel Patrick. The people is very friendly and they give us much help to organise the excursions to the snorkelling in Los Frailes and the jeep trip around Isla Margarita (and to change the Euros at a good price). In the evenings we meet a lot of people from many countries in the Hotel Bar. Todo fue muy bueno. Muchas Gracias Sra Odalis and Sr Michael We liked very much the Hotel Patrick. Excellent hostel, really friendly people. Originally we had planned to stay here 1 night and then go to Playa el Agua. But Juan Griego was such a beautiful, relaxing little town - and Hotel Patrick was such a cool, safe and hospitable place - that we stayed there for 4 more days. The local people there and in nearby Playa Caribe beach made us feel very welcome and gave us a chance to practice our Spanish. The boss, Michael, is a really interesting and fun guy, and makes a great Margarita 10/10Excellent hostel, really friendly people.
