We came back to the hotel after being out all day and noticed that our door had been left unlocked by the cleaner. We then realized that a bunch of our stuff had been stolen! Because it was late when we got back to the hotel we did not talk to the owner until the following day. He was unable to help us and tried to place the blame on us. Even though he knows we had been out all day as he was the one to sell us the tickets to the day excursion.

The Perissa Hotel (which is actually just outside Perissa) is a very quaint facility, made up of several individual stuccoed blue and white units with high ceilings--very picturesque. The interior was comfortable and good value. My wife and I were here in early October so there wasn't a lot of activity in the hotel or on the beaches. Sometimes it was a little hard to find the staff if we had a question.

beautiful hotel complex with great atmosphere, nice staff and big swimming pool

Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom could have been bigger. Faucet water tasted salty and was difficult to get used to. However, a supermarket near by sold water for very cheap.

More of a hotel than a hostel. The rooms are very fine, not as new and fancy as you'd expect, but very good and very clean nevertheless. The hostel is somewhat far away from the main attractions of the island, but that is to be expected and sometimes looked after. If the purpose of the trip is to relax and go the beaches (which are nearby/walking distance) the location is fine, if the idea is to go to the overcrowded city center, its far away. Staff is awesome, thanks Freddy!

We loved it, Freddy is a legend!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Perissa. Very friendly staff and good access to the entire island! It was the perfect way to end a busy trip traveling around Europe! Very peaceful and relaxing. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Santorini 😊

In the hostel there was no potable water, so we had to take the shower and clean our teeth with salted water. When we complied about that, the owner of the hotel tried to cheat us and told us that this was normal in Santorini, but we could see that in every bar and restaurant of the island there was current water. This fact really disappointed us, because for the price we paid, we should have had normal water in our bathroom and in the pool.
