Being a hotel is a peaceful setting. Too much. It's a great place, but very expensive.
Clean room, good wifi. Excellent breakfast (so far the best I have). It's more like a hotel than a hostel, so not much atmosphere going on here. Only a few mins walk to the main street. The town is pretty small. Overall good stay.
Water in the shower wasnt warm at all times but overall really recommendable Place to stay
I really liked this hotel whilst it was quiet. However when it was busy the WiFi was intermittent and I was told breakfast had run out at 8.15, bearing in mind it shouldn't have finished until 9.30. The trip to isla del sol and laundry I found cheaper else where.
Very happy with my stay, room was cheap, clean and facility's were awesome. Definitely stay there again.
the hotel was wonderful..the breakfast was great..juice, coffee or tea, yoghurt, musli, bread, pancakes and eggs..awesome way to start our day..staff were friendly..room was great..only thing we didnt like were other guests smoking in their rooms when its all non smoking..the nites were bad with the smoke smell..otherwise a great stay
The hotel was clean with simple but comfortable rooms, the bathroom was small and basic but OK to use. Wifi is good and free. The staff were friendly and breakfast was freshly cooked every morning with a good selection of eggs, pancakes, fruit, fresh juice. The hotel is a casual 10min to harbour and has plenty of shops near-by. So people are aware, payment is cash is required when check-out.
Very nice change to hostels, clean and comfy beds. The hot water did run out, and we were watched with eagle eyes at breakfast to make sure we didn't take too much.
I had a comfortable room with hot shower and the staff were very helpful. Great breakfast. tv in room but very little in English (mainly tourists and backpackers stay here???.) Found it noisy, you could hear the music from the kitchen at 7am and people getting up at random hours and for Bolivia it was expensive. There are other options closer to the lake and much cheaper. I enquired out of interest and was amazed at the response. I would have changed if there had been availability.
This establishment is a hotel, not a hostel. Breakfast was perfectly fine, we had hot water and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in during our travels. It was good that we could leave our bags there while we went to Isla del Sol. On the other hand, the staff could have been friendlier.
We are sad. Because we went at this hostal on a saturday and we cant go outside at night, because they close the hotel at 11 p.m. So it was a saturday without party for our group....

The Hotel Perla del Lago is a good place to stay in Copacabana. It is a little expensive to Bolívia price but the room was very good and the shower was excellent. This Hotel are close the main street with all restaurants and near the boat trip (only 5 minutes walk). The wifi did not work in the room and the PC is old and slow (so we could not access the internet). The breakfast is excellent, but strange because there was a person looking for what you eat (not too cordially).
Much more like a hotel than a hostel. Fantastic rooms & great location.
Big comfy beds, excellent breakfast and staff
