There are narrow and steep stairs to climb, with the suitcase to get into the rooms. There is bell-noise of the cathedral, but it stops at night. Everything is a bit narrow but the place is very good situated an the infrastructure in good condition. In the cheaper rooms the outside WC was to share with people of 3 other rooms, but didn't cause problems (clean) I heard the neighbours speaking in the room, fortunately they were no noisy people.

BED BUGS! I was covered head to toe in bites, got little sleep, then had all my belongings fumigated, so god knows what chemicals I am absorbing now! I was accused of bringing to bed bugs to the hotel, its only 'foreigners' that have them I was told by the staff. Also its noisy! And noise from the cathedral bells are the least of your worries. The bathroom was on a different floor to my room, but it was clean. The location is good if you want to be in tourist town.

If you don't drink with your friend at night, it will be very noisy and make you can not sleep well.

I highly recommend this hotel, but you shouldn\'t stay there if you\'re very sensitive to noise. There is no noise from cars at all, but the street can be rather loud with shouting people, street musicians and the bells from the cathedral (only during daytime, not at night). The staff is friendly and helpful, only once we had problems: in the evening, we were told we could have breakfast at 11, but the next morning at 11, there was a meeting in the breakfast room and we had to go elsewhere.

LOVED this place.Small and cozy, clean and quaint. And you could NOT ask for a better location....so long as you don't mind Cathedral bells.

It's a hotel, not a hostel. Clean, functional rooms. The people at reception are nice and helpful. The bells really are quite loud, but you are directly downtown, and they don't ring between 10:00 p.m. or so and 9:45 a.m. Although, on Sunday at least they start up with a 15 minute "concert". One of us had no problem sleeping through the bells and the other was ready to wake up anyway, but they are worth noting if you are not a deep sleeper and want to sleep in.

We loved this hotel!! We had a beautiful room with windows that opened up to the cathedral. Excellent location close to the center square, shops, sights, cafes, restaurants, and bars. Awesome beer bar almost right next door. When I go back to Antwerp, I will definitely stay here.
