The pictures on the site are not realistic of the general atomosphere, which is a bit basic. However, it was very friendly and very clean, with crisp white cotton sheets being changed regularly. There are no safes in the rooms, but it felt very safe. It's right by the trans-lagoon bridge by a bus stop, which has a bus passing every 10 minutes.

Needed to have free wifi- but besides that you get what you pay for and it's good if your looking not to spend an arm and a leg in Venice, easy busride.
