Wonderful hotel at cheap price! Definetely best accomodation during our half year trip in Central America. Working AC, super clean and big room, own toilet, nice big towels and HOT water. Even a cable flat screen tv!! I payed the same amount in another hostel in the city and got windowless, extremely hot room (even in cold day) with mosquitos and it had very busy shared bathroom!

staff doesn't speak english and they don't made the impession of giving much about tourists, but the friendly cleaning lady compensated the rather cold atmosphere :-)

I was very surprised at getting the quality and amenities for the money.. I only have one suggestion/complaint, the bathroom has no shelf or soap holder. The only place to lay anything down is on the back of the toilet, very inconvenient. But again, spotless and modern excellent isn't a good enough word to describe the facilities for the money.

They do not speak english but we were able to talk through translaters. It was in a safe area near the water and halfway between old town and big city so easy to walk around. Nice tv and frig in room and quiet ac and quiet street.

The place was clean and comfortable. What makes it so appealing is that they were $30 a night...I here there are others that are as nice for less....but if I can stay somewhere clean for under $30 I'm happy. They should have a place to relax for people there, the lobby just don't cut it. Not a lot going on in the area of the hotel but taxis for $2.50 -3.00 took us to Congrejo area everyday, and the ocean park is across the street.

The place is stile under reapers but its going to be very good when they will finish! The staff on the front desk was not more then politically correct, not very helpfull. The airport shatel saved us almost as much as the cast of the first night! It was worth the staying only for that!!! Over all good valu for the money but Panama City it self is boaring... We stayed for 2 night and continued to Bocas del toro that was Amasing!!!

Basically, the only thing that keeps me from rating this hotel as an excellent buy is the fact that the Internet connection functions miserably. The Internet connection inmy room was regularly broken so that I had to start all over and often just gave up the effort. On the other hand, the airprt pickup was perfect and included In the price. In general the personnel was helpful, but in regards to a functioning Internet connection for me nothing could be done. I moved to another hotel,

It would be good if the receptionist spoke Spanish. They seemed annoyed when I did not know a certain word. Also I called from Miami Fl before my connecting flight to arrange for my transfer from the Panama airport and they just hung up on me.

This is more of a hotel than a hostel, so if you know that it's OK. They are currently renovating 2 floors of the hotel, which will be nice when it is finished -- but you can currently really tell the difference between the old rooms and the newly renovated ones. We don't need much - bed and bath, nothing fancy - and stayed here 3 times, each time we passed through Panama City. Open 24 hours, which is a huge plus. Definitely recommended for non-fussy travelers.

We were in the new part of the hotel and the accommodations are excellent. However, at 8am construction had started and someone was banging on a pipe. After that there wasn't really anyway to sleep.
