Riad Idrissi is lovely - really authentic and beautifully furnished. However the guy who ran the place wasn't very friendly - and frankly a bit of a grump - he was the only person in all my time in Morocco who charged me additional tax. i couldn't be bothered arguing, given the language barrier. Such a shane - because it was one of the loveliest places I stayed at while in Morocco. The breakfast was great - and the ladies who prepared it were really nice.
A fairly simple B&B, but set in a gorgeous building, with fairly friendly staff (though only the owner speaks english). Breakfast is included, with fans in the rooms, but dinner is pretty expensive. Considering Meknes isn't as popular as other cities, it feels fairly overpriced. A comfortable stay though if your budget isn't too tight.
Beautiful riad, but skip the food, there is better and cheaper restaurant around.
This Riad is really one of the most beautiful hostels. It has got an amazing maroccan style, mosiak and huge wooden doors etc... So the atmosphere was great. Everything was clean, we had a fan in our room so no sweating :) On the pretty quite roof terrace you can relax. The staff was friendly, not really talkative but if you need something you will get help. Would stay there again!
Very comfortable room in a recently renovated riad. Friendly owner who will help with your sightseeing plans for Meknes and the surrounding area.
