Would stay there again. The rooms were clean, it was nice to have a double bed, a shower and sink in our room, and clean sheets and blankets. renting a top sheet was 1.50 but pillows and everything else included. It's not a 5 star hotel but great for just staying the night. The place isn't super nice (stairs were so crooked) but was good value for the money.

It was the worst place, where I stayed and I have no idea, how is even possible to give an positive review for it. We met alltogether three people on reception, only one was quite nice. There was nothing in room instead of uncomfortable bed, small table and two chairs, dirty floor and really tiny walls. We paid extra fee for getting an imitation of bedding, the only one positive is Paris surrounding you. I recommend to pay little more money for much more comfort, maybe the tent would be better.

The place is quite clean. There is hot water, but for some (unknown) reason, you cannot take a shower after 23h (french time). At least this is what the owner told us and what it was written on the bathroom door.I took a shower after 24h and nothing happened, the hot water was still on. The walls are thin,so our neighbours knoked on the walls,as we were laughing out loud late in the night. They offer no towels.I dont know if you can pay for one,we brought our own We had to pay 3EUR for a bed sheet

The Hotel is not very attracting from outside, looked like some abandoned plac. Staff was pretty careless, not welcoming. But after all we got a very nice room and there was hot water and warm room and the room was clean. Nice location, you could walk to notredame and eiffel (it took some more than 1 hour to get to eiffel). Metro very close and easy to get around. The hostel should have been cheaper according to how it was, but Paris is overall pretty expensive so 22,5 e per night/person was ok.

The staff was very rude and he didn´t want to open the door for me, just because I´ve arrived there 5 minutes before the check-in.

We had to pay extra for bed sheets and we had a shower in our room that wasn't working at all. You couldn't properly close the door of the shower in the corridor. The room had bed bugs, which was a very unpleasant experience. We've travelled a lot in cheap hostels in Europe but never seen bed bugs before. When we informed the staff about the bugs they weren't really interested or sorry at all.

For what you pay, it's a good choice. I have been to Paris on February and it was deadly cold. It was always warm inside the hostel/bedroom and you get confortable. It's kind of far away from the main places you probably want to see, but if you buy a book of subway tickets it doesn't get very expensive, and you'll do great. It's also close to a supermarket. I just think the cleaning could be a little better.

As soon as we had an issue, the service became terrible. The room was more of a shower-room with a bed in the corner and a toilet in a cupboard. That aside we settled in on our first night in Feb to find that the horse-like-haired blanket was wholly inadequate for the temperature as the heating was broken. Upon complaining we were advised it would be fixed but had to endure the bitter night. The following day we decided to stay elsewhere which involved a 3 hour checkout and an extra night charge

Staff don't speak a word of english- so not very helpful. Room was incredibly hot even without radiators on. Door to patio didn't have a lock so anyone from another room could come in. We also had a staff member yell stand and yell at our door telling us to be quiet when we weren't being loud and when there was louder noises coming from elsewhere!

Have this being my first hotel outside of the United States I was shocked at the poor quality of the place. The room was probably as small as it could have been. The lights were barely working. There was a toilet on every floor but the ones on our floor had no seat or the floor after that. The showers looked like a horror movie. There was no elevator and we were on the 5th. It was cheap though and it had its own charm, staff were very friendly, and there are a bunch of clubs on republique.

Toilets were very dirty and uncomfortable. Often missing toilet seat and bowl. Just one shower for each floor. Very thin walls, so we could hear everything from the neighbor and his neighbor and so on... The bed was very small and uncomfortable. Wifi/Internet was everywhere, expentend with Wifi-Expender, but it works ONLY near the entrance. The only good with was that the metrostation was near.
