The staff were incredibly rude, apart from the owner, but we only saw him once. We were greeted by a man sleeping who seemed very annoyed that we had arrived and made us feel nervous rather than welcome. The room was actually dirty when we got in and the toilet room constantly smelled like sewage and woke us up in the night due to how bad it got. The whole place was a run down and despite being a hotel, it was much worse than any hostel or b&b we'd stayed in. A very disappointing place to stay.

I killed 10 cockroaches in 2 days. Every day at 7 some idiots cried and it was impossible to sleep. No room isolation. There is no kitchen, where you can boil the water or make you dinner warm. Shower is destroyed.

The location north of the Bastille ist good and the Metro station Voltaire is not to far away. But that's the positive side with the negative outweighting ist. The condition of the place is rather ran-down. The are traces of mold on the ceiling and in the shower. The staircase is narrow and uneven. The first day there were power outages and only half of the light bulbs in the lamp were working.. The worst thing were the sewage pipes through my room and the noise when water was running through.

The staff was great, very kind and helpful. The room was very nice for what we paid, had a good view, its own shower and was clean. Location was nice, many supermarkets and Metro station nearby. I would recommend this place for a few nights, specially because of the price.

The room we stayed it what horrendous. There was an air vent in the room which produced the smell of sewage and everything was dirty. The communal toilets had no toilet seat of sink and some toilets didn't have a chain! Would recommend heading to McDonalds next door to wash!

So. so. The double room on the first floor was not good, smelled like chlore( ?), could be difficult to sleep 2 nights. But the staff agreed to change us the room an is was ok.

The baggage room was just a closet that anyone could get into. The staff was bored and did not seem at all interested in helping us. The atmosphere was all in all shady. Everything in the building looked old, broken, and/or moldy. The room had a bed, a small table, and a sink in it. To use the toilette or go shower were in separate small rooms on different hotel floors. I would not recommend this hotel.

The walls are very thin and you can hear everything. I would recommend some blinds because the red curtains are not enough. Also almost all of the doors are squeaking horribly and it very disturbing! But overall it's a good hotel to stay for a couple of days.
