I would not recommend staying here. The hotel is nowhere near the center where the Acropolis is, you have to take the metro. The area the hotel is in is strange nothing is in walking distance. People we met in Athens told us this area was not very safe at night. The staff was not that helpful and the breakfast was miniscule. Also, they only give you a sheet to use at night on your bed! Not impressed.

Our stay at Hotel Rio was nice but i don't recommend staying there. The room was clean and the beds were ok. But the staff wasn't very friendly. It has been written on the website that there is a storage room, but when we asked to storage our bags, we were asked to leave our bags in the open cortyard, far away from the reception. We had to argue with the staff in order for them to take it to a close room. The wi-fi was poor in the rooms, and when i asked to make a call they asked for 5 euros.
