Very helpful staff. Excellent location close to railway station and Cathedral. A bit noisy on a Saturday night - quadruple glazing cuts traffic noise down to barely a hum but the noise of local youth having a good time gets through it no bother. Breakfast and free internet connection were good.
Hotel Romagna is now our top go-to lodging in Florence!
Super small rooms, a lot of steps to go to the room
Perfect location, friendly staff, rooms a little tired and could do with renovation but very clean with comfy beds and very quiet air con units. I would defiantly recommend this place. Perfect if you are on a budget (i dont think you could get much better (i tried)) If you are happy to excuse the decor its the perfect base for all other visitors. I will be back for sure.
Very good value for the price and excellent location! Only the mattress was very poor which let me sleep not so well.

The hotel is minutes walking distance from the train station. The staff was nice and helpful (especially when there was a train strike and we had no idea what to do). The breakfast is basic but a nice addition. The room was clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat, right in the middle of everything.
very clean rooms and excellent services as well very kindly staff.
No lift, lots of stairs. Breakfast was ok, minimal sections but it will hold you till lunch.
The location is fantastic- we walked absolutely everywhere, and it was fun to be only a couple blocks from the Duomo. It was nice to have breakfast in the morning, which included cereal, yogurt, croissants, bread, sliced meat, juice, tea, coffee, etc. It felt very safe with someone always at the front desk.
