Hotel Saint Nicolas Reviews

Our room was at a corner in the corridor, so there was often noise from other guests as they passed. The door to the bathroom would not stay closed, so we had to take in a chair to prop against it while we were in there. Apart from that, the room was fine. Clean and tidy, though simple. Breakfast cost an extra 10 euro per person, per day, so we elected to find our own. The hotel is very close to the Grand Place and all the restaurants in that vicinity, so that wasn't at all difficult.

When we booked this hotel, everything seemed to be nice. In summary only the location, almost in the center, was good. The staff was very inpolite and we feeled not welcome. Almost everytime we came back to the hotel, no receptionist was on the desk. This is also a security issue, because you can easily take the keys from the desk to all rooms. The room was lousy and there was a water damage. First the staff was not agreed to give us another room, after stressful dispute we could change it.
