Staff was friendly but overall the place is not very good. However they did a great job with dinner on the rooftop.

very nice staff, good location and the best butter chicken we ever had !!! They are rebuilding within a few months and prices will go up by 15-20% from april 2013.
The room was reasonably clean although communal areas less so - there seemed to be some building/renovation work going on during our stay. Electrics in the room were flaky at times too. The owner was always extremely helpful at all times and was keen to give advice on the city and surrounding area. Generally pretty good, but rather overpriced for what we got.
We were travelling through India. We had very nice time in hotel Sakura. THe owner, Mr Ramu had phoned his friends in Khajurahoo and Jaipur to meet us at the station, he organized a rickshaw for us in 3 different cities. He treated us like his own kids and we are very grateful. We would spend time there again. Food is very nice and not very expensive. Absolutely affordable even for students. (ex. you get veg thali for 130 Rs, appx 2 EUR and there is enough food for 2 people. Fresh salad, Rice, papad-fri
This is absolutely no frills hostel. A bit shabby, but googd kitchen and staff - very friendly and helpful, will organize everyting for you for a reasonable price, to your convenience. Pick up from the train station is free. Internet is paid (60 RUP per hour), but it is there. No common room, but you can spend your time sitting in the restaurant and chatting with other guests.
