The lady at reception was very welcoming and helpful - she was able to answer our questions about booking an onward bus and tried to call the company to get more information for us (we only have very limited Spanish but she was very patient!). She also made sure we got in an official taxi to the bus station for the right price. The wifi was fast and worked in our room which was clean and comfy with a hot, powerful shower. We felt very safe as there as the front security door is always locked.

Not a lot to do in Piura but this hostel is is good to stay in for a night en-route to somewhere else.We stayed here for one night on our way to Piura airport to fly onto Lima. The staff were lovely and offered to book a secure taxi to the airport. The room was very clean and it had cable tv (a luxury when travelling).

Great place to stay but individual rooms and more than i woul like to spend as a backpacker but the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and quiet. Its a small motor taxi ride into the centre and you will get a great nights sleep here. Better for couples or those wanting a little more time to relax and a bit quieter.

Very helpful staff. A good place to stay if you need to break a journey in Piura. Other budget hostel options were very dodgy by comparison.

Its not the Ritz but trust me it seems to be one of the better of the few options in Piura. The staff here are really excellent and helpful - booking taxi's and buses, recommending restaurants etc. but we had no hot water one night and no electricity the second. Piura itself has nothing really in it . Also we thought this would be an easy route to Ecuador but its still a 12 hour bus to Guayaquil (the bus company tells you 8). Mancora further up the coast seems nicer and more on the tourist map.
