Hotel San Salvador Reviews

We had a good stay here. The room was a little small, but I believe that is because most buildings in Venice are like that. My only concern was the mosquitos flying around in our room at night, probably from being so close to the water. Besides that, it is very easy to find and a great location to be in (right in the center of everything near Rialto)!

Amazingly convenient location for its money. Beware there is no safebox at all, just like in other 2 hotels we stayed in while in Venice.

Great location. The room we stayed in was extremely small but quiet, clean, and comfortable. A little strange using a shared shower down the hall next to the reception desk but the private toilet with the room made this not a problem. It is very much no frills but since we spent most of our time out of the hotel this was perfect. Also the sisters who ran the place during the day were wonderfully helpful with information and spoke english (appreciated since my language skills are terrible).

The only major problem was that there was no free wifi.

The staff is so friendly and helpfully in filling your needs while there. The location is great because it is so close to main water bus station and water bus station for the airport. Our room was very well kept and clean. We enjoyed having a private bathroom in our bedroom and sharing a shower with ours. We felt very welcome at this hotel and would go again if we were in Venice.
