We spent two nights in Hotel San Salvador's annex building in a double bedroom. The place was great, it looked like an old venetian flat with some rooms in it. Our room was big, comfortable and very clean. The hotel staff was super nice and the price was OK compared to other hostels in central Venice. One thing you have to be prepared: the walls are not very thick so if there's a neighbour you have to be careful what noises you make in your room.

Venice is amazing - and the location is perfect. It was about a 15 minute walk from the train station and right around the corner from the Rialto bridge. If you get lost - which you will - just follow signs to Per Rialto. Stefania and her sister were amazing and very friendly, able to accommodate our extra days without a problem. Although no breakfast, plenty of coffee shops to satisfy. The room was big, shower was fine and the accordion player you hear is great. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. It was in a perfect location and our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff who run the hotel are a wealth of knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.

We would like to thank the hotel staff for their hospitality during our short 2 night stay. The reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and as described. The directions given on the hotel website ensured we were able to find it OK despite it being tucked away in a little alley/road. The location of the hotel was a good base for exploring the sites in Venice that we wished to see. We felt that the hotel tariff was of good value and in line with the accommodation.

Really central hotel, near Rialto Bridge. Lovely helpful staff. Clean and near good restaurants. Great choice!

Extremely personable and helpful staff. They were ready with recommendations, tips, and advice as well as always saying hello as we came and went. Felt much more like a hotel than a hostel and was perfectly situated a few minutes walk to St. Mark's and nearly on top of the Rialto Bridge. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Only stayed for one night, but very nice hotel. Location is great, very short walk from the Rialto Bridge. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly. Only complaint was that it was a bit pricey, but there were only few options left when we booked. Would recommend for anyone traveling to Venice.

The best staff in the world! Gave us a breakdown of HOW Venice works! They recommended the BEST places to eat/drink at various price points. They told us how to avoid the busy crowds and main alleys. The staff at this hotel made our stay in Venice AMAZING. Beautiful room and wash-room. A little on the small side, but able to adapt easily. Just outside the Rialto Bridge, 5 minute walk to San Marco Square. The only downside is the smelly alley leading to the front door of the hotel and no elevator

Great place, excelent value for money even if you do not add the location into the equation - and the location is wonderful! Also, a big thank you to both girls on the reception for their really useful tips and advice. loved the place!

It'd be a bit tricky to find the hotel because it's situated at a small alley. The host is really really kind and friendly.

The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. Always very pleasent and welcoming. The location was pretty central to the main sites. The room was however, rather small. With two suitcases it got a little tight. Cannot fault the staff who were brilliant

I stayed in a standard double bed private ensuite, my experience in general was very good, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean and the location is perfect. Just be careful with the check-out time if you're planning to pay at that moment because the receptionist is not there the 24hrs. and you have to pay in the reception.

Hotel San Salvador made my stay in Venice absolutely memorable. The location was a great aspect of hotel, right next to Rialto bridge which meant allowed me to take amazing midnight strolls nearby the river. It's also 10-15minute walk to the square! But it took me 30 minutes simply because I got lost ;). Also, Ambra was a great receptionist. She was so bubbly and gave great tips upon my arrival - this set my whole perception of Venice :) and I wasn't disappointed!
