There were tons of bed bugs in the room! We couldn't sleep throughout our whole stay. The hotel is really dirty and there are broken things everywhere. We went to the reception to complain about the bedbugs and they gave us a different room with broken lights, no curtains and more bedbugs. We requested to be transferred to another hotel and they offered again to change us to another room. The sheets are stained with blood from the death bed bugs... The whole place should be fumigated. Disgusting

The wi-fi must be at room. The staff isn't organized.

The room wasn't very clean - the table was all sticky and there was some kind of dust on the sheets. The water tap was falling off (although it was working :)). The dishes at breakfast was dirty. However, the staff in the reception were nice and the location is good.

If you don't mind walking or getting the metro in to the very centre then this is a great location. The lift was still broken and I doubt there were any plans to get it fixed. 24/7 desk was very useful for our arrival in the early hours of the morning however the man on the desk claimed that my card didnt work (I saw the confirmation on the machine screen) and had to be persuaded to give me my copy of the receipt... was all worked out but hassle. noisy at night but good street.

We were living at a room at the fifth floor. The room was very crowded with two single beds and the steep roofs inside the room. Besides, there was no hair dryer and water kettle for us to use. The room was also quite dark with dim lighting. It was disappointing that Wifi can only be used at the lobby not in the room. Also, it would be much better if the lift could be used, considering we have to carry our luggages to the fifth floor.

Since the hotel is quite cheap, the quality is less, but fair enough since we only slept at the hotel. We were quite hesitant to go there after seeing the reviews on tripadvisor, but in the end everything was OK. The hostel was clean enough (nothing extraordinary though) and we didn't have/see any bugs. It would've been nice if breakfast was included :) And they should fix the elevator

The elevator was not working so they made us climb 5 floors with all our heavy luggage! Needless to say no one wanted to leave the room to go back down once we had all our bags there, because we knew if we went down we'd have to come back up again!

Location is very good, price is also very adequate. The staff was definitely not too friendly or flexible, but in the end it was o.k.

This was a decent place to stay. The walls are very thin and we could hear all of the surrounding rooms talking as if they were right inside our room. Other than that, the distance to downtown is a bit far. We used the Velib system to get around town. Nice park nearby on the boulevard.

Room looked nice and clean. Lift did not work, phone did not work, shower half-worked. Some staff were very nice and helpful but one (he said his name was Jean, but his co-workers called him Nello) was very mean and created a bad atmosphere.

This hostel/hotel is a good location for going out in the Bastille/Oberkampf/Republique areas. It has a great grocery store next to it as well as cheap brasserie and a kebap shop. There is an HBSC ATM around the corner. It Is very near four different metro stops. It is only a few stops from main station Gare du Nord. Free wifi in lobby and some rooms will reach signal on first floor. Hostel was clean. Bathrooms are stocked w towels and soap. Hard to meet people here except in lobby.

I could hardly understand one of the stuff, neither in French nor in English. The rooms were quite small and I didn't like the breakfast room. I preferred to have my coffee in one of the bistros. It was very loud, when someone took a shower in another room or even when guests were talking in the corridor.
