The guy at the reception was great, tols us where to go, where to eat, everything we needed to know. The only downside was that I got bitten by fleas over the night.

It was really a great stay, staff is really helpful and available 24 hrs, nearby the Michelangelo's David and within walking distance from all major attractions, Wifi works perfectly and I met a lot Young people like me discovering this town for the first time, I recommend it to anyone coming in Florence and I will surely be back here when I come back in this wonderful town.... Oh! don't forget to get their great tips for food, icecream's places and aperitive dinners!!!!

When you book this hotel but you will end up at Hotel Benvenuti. Room was nice and large with attached bathroom. We also had a small living room with 2nd TV and wine fridge. However, AC in both rooms didn’t work and the staff didn’t seem to care to fix it. Cleaning service was sporadic. One female staff member of the morning team was pleasant and helpful. All other staff tended to be rude and very unwelcoming. Location is about 10-15 min. walk from most attractions. I’d give it a 6 out of 10.

thank you very much

I stayed in Hotel Savonarola for several days with a number of friends while we were in Florence for a conference. The location was great (though just beyond the tourist area, it was reasonable walking distance from most things), the staff helpful (on a number occassions), and the value was good. Also, there was space for us to do a little work in the lounge area, when we needed to, which was nice. (Minor complaint would be the faint machine humming noise at night time.) Would stay there again.

Nice hotel in a phenomenal location- right next to Uffizi museum and The David. Also close to a laundromat for long time travelers :) shower was terrible- cold with low water pressure- and Internet was a bit frustrating to get working. Besides that it was a great value for the location and staff was nice and helpful.

Really nice place to stay... It is not just in the most turistic part, but walking, you can get to piazza san marco on 5 mins. The wifi just worked one day, that was unconfortable.

Dont be deceived by the photos for this hotel here. When you arrive you are put in a grotty room which bears little resemblence to the rooms you see here ("we are fully booked" is what we were told - they did change one room which was a slight improvement) Also the location of the hotel is not particularly convenient. Though it looks central on the map, the walk to the cathedral takes about 10-15 minutes, and perhaps about 30 mins on foot to the river... which is annoying when you're out atnigh

David Lynch-like corridors with red curtains, really cool atmosphere. Extremely nice and helpful staff.

The room was in good condition. It is clean but just hope they would replace the missing toilet rolls. We were staying there for 3 nights and close to the 3rd night we ran out.
