This hostel could not be any closer to the Taj Mahal so location wise it is perfect. You can see the Taj from the rooftop, if you are brave enough to go up there...the monkeys are scary, however the staff were helpful in keeping them away! All staff here were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was only ok.

For the price you pay it is wise not to expect too much of this hostel. The location is excellent- a very short walk from the Taj Mahal, which makes getting up to see the sunrise- beating the hoardes of tourists there much easier. The restaurant in the hotel was a plus- reasonably priced with a good selection, albeit service was extremely slow (Indian standard). Rooms hot, but not able to open window at night because there were no fly screens. Very spartan decor. Bed very hard. Cleanliness OK.

I was given a room with out AC .when they advertise on website that AC is available. never had hot water and when I complained to the receptionist he said hot water is only available in winter which also nothing is mentioned on website. I felt i was very cheated. Also lot of bugs in the room and no action or even came to check my room .

Excellent location. Staff generally uninterested except for one of the receptionists who was really fun!! Nothing much to do at night in the area. Pay the extra for AC as it was boiling at night and the fan didn't do much, really. Good for a one night stop if you want to see the Taj.
