My gf and I stayed in the dormitory style room, which is located on their top level. The lockers all use the same key, so beware and don't use the lockers for valuable items. If you stay multiple nights they don't change your sheets or make the bed. The hot water is a luck of the draw deal. I've heard guests rave about scalding hot. However I never found that. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had a small issue with some bus tickets and they were quick to make things right.

For dormitory room, go no where. It's the best in town! Very excellent value of money. Big sized bed in 6 beds dormitory room, fluffy blanket, and back up light, hot water, delicious breakfast...cheap price and right at heart of Thamel.
extremly nice staff!! we loved every day spent here. the dorm is very nice and comfortable, with bunch of plugs! :))
Great hostel in a quiet alley so no loud music at night- which is what you get at most thamel hostels. clean sheets, floors and bathroom, and a great vibe. Definitely recommended. Only wish it was more flexible with extending your stay if you're already there.
The big point is the location! Very friendly, funny and helpful staff. Good WIFI and nice atmosphere. I´ve spent there 2 times, the rooms a run down and they need to be renovated. The dorm room in the upper floor is the best in the moment with the best atmosphere. But all in all good for the price!
Very good location. Single rooms of much better quality than dorm.
Friendly staff, very helpful and laid back. Cheap and cheerful dorm in the central area, nothing fancy but good for backpackers and travellers.
Don't expect much for this little money you pay. They do have the most essential things though. However towels are not provided for dorms so get your own.
