We came for two nights and stayed for five. A great value for money.

(+)hotel super close to city center, service was good, nice breakfast (-)rooms to the front are rather noisy (ask for rooms towards the courtyard!! - which are more modern as well, evtl. with balcony), did not like the anti-slip-shower-mat (in both rooms they were mouldy)

The eigth time I have stayed there. Sol Algarve is convenient for buses, trains and the city centre. The staff (at every level) could not be more friendly and helpful. I would recommend Sol Algarve to anyone.

the room was an OK size for 3 people but it was SO noisy and the bells from various chapels were going off every half hour from about 7am. and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything out in corridor the staff were lovely and this hotel is in a PRIME location for night clubs and pubs as its about a minute walk to the main stretch of bars in the old town. otherwise a good stay and would recomend the hotel to young people as the prices are ok.

overall it was a good stay, however wifi access was so weak in the room you couldn't connect and had to be in the lounge downstairs. also, location was central and close to bus and train station which was useful but the area around the hotel was a bit dodgy at night. all staff were very friendly and helpful except for one woman at reception who occasionally seemed annoyed when we had questions. bath mat in the bathroom was really old and mouldy looking, should really chuck it out.

The rooms definitely need some renovation, especially the hot water supply, but the rooms are cozy

The sixth time I have stayed here. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Sol Algarve to anyone. Great location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, excellent value for money. Looking forward to going there again soon.
