Ok, but far from the city centre, 30 minute walk from train station. No free internet although advertised. Shared bathrooms were clean, with bathmats provided. Had to leave room key with reception and buzz everytime you want to come into hotel - a bit annoying but livable. We arrived 2 days before expected and they where very helpful and worked out a room that we could stay in for the extra two days and the day we where suppose to be there. Close to old town. Everything is walking distance. Fantastic staff who are the most knowledgeable folks for the Freiburg area. Rooms are clean and restaurant in the hotel was great as well. A bit outside of the city center- be ready for a walk. Nice staff, very helpful and friendly. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and have nice character.
