Everything that you'd expect! A nice, safe, well-located hostel, perfect for crashing in for one night or staying in for the weekend. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and felt safe. Comforters were comfy. This was my first experience at a hostel, and while I didn't stay for breakfast or check out the bar closely, the tram is literally a 2 minute walk away from the front door to take you straight into Freiburg.

Within walking distance of town. A bit overpriced for what is a pretty basic room and we suspect we got bedbug bites from this hotel.

The Hotel had two small problems: there was just one shower on every floor and breakfast was too expensive. The location to stay in Freiburg is good, though.
