The room was extremely small. The two twin beds nearly filled the whole space, with maybe a foot or less space around the perimeter. There was not even enough floor space to open the closet door more than a few inches. The carpet was stained and the wall covering was peeling. The bathroom reeked of urine. We have stayed in much nicer, cleaner places for the same or less cost. This place was way below standard.

This hostel was two tram stops from the center of Bordeaux with the tram literally on the doorstep. It's very basic accommodation, old fashioned - kind of like being on a boat - but clean and the staff were really nice, very friendly and helpful.

Had a nice stay here, our room was small but sufficient, few small aesthetic issues (e.g .torn wallpaper) but what we would expect for the price. room was otherwise very clean. Handy location for the train station and a short walk into town but that was fine for us. Nearby tram also handy.

Nice enough for night but nothing special. Needs a bit of revamp and odd bed arrangement. Man at reception was very friendly however.

The rooms are old and not very clean. Although the staff people do their work, they look tired

The hot water in the room didn't work at all so had to have cold showers, peeling wallpaper so not worth the money but the room was clean.

This is a budget-friendly place, and I got what I expected. A clean room and close to the train station. What I didn't know was that the hotel is a 15 minute walk from the city center, so people wanting a central location will be disappointed. Other than that, the hotel was completely all right! There was however not air conditioning in the room, but a fan.
