Staff was very helpful with restaurant and day-trip recommendations. We enjoyed our stay just fine although the hotel is a bit outdated and we stayed in a different building without wifi for our computer which would have been helpful. Overall an average/good experience

When we arrived at the hotel we were told that we were not staying in the main building but one down the street. When we arrived at the building we found that it was dark and dirty, with zero security. There also wasn't wifi in the building which was very irritating. My partner didn't feel comfortable in the room because of its state of cleanliness and lack of security. We got our money back and found a different plac to stay for our remaining nights. Overall it was a horrible experience.

Friendly enough reception and the room was good, but there was no internet in the building we were in, there were worms or centipedes of some kind on the ceiling and there was a giant stain on the covers which were covered in big black hairs. Needed cleaning up, but was a decent basic room otherwise with a nice view.

The bed cover had a stain, so that kind of freaked us out a bit, but the sheets looked clean. The shower was like a large tin can with lots of rust on the inside, so if you can deal without a shower then you're fine. The bathroom smelled a bit, and the toilet hadn't been cleaned. The window didn't close, and it was loud on the street all night, earplugs a must. All in all, it felt really dirty but we survived. It's really cheap, so one or two nights you could probably do it. The people are nice

our room, it was very good, really clean, the bathroom was renovated, and the hotel, it is really in the heart of the city. you can go anywhere without taking the bus or the tram. but, the room that they gave us was in the entrance floor and all of the windows were closed. so in the morning, when we get up, we couldn\'t see the sun, it was like it was still the night. and all along the day we don\'t see any natural light in our room, we had to use artificial light. anyways, it was good to be there

Beautiful position, but I wished to have the wifi at least in my building, if not in my room....

Our stay at this hostel was good. Nothing fancy - you need to overlook the fact that the rooms are dated and the washroom facilites a little quirky but it has the basics and the guy who runs this place is very friendly and helpful. The location was good too.

we stayed at double room for 1 night. It's okay one night, otherwise it is a mess. you can stay in the middle of Bordeaux and it's really convenient. But you can not expect anything special. Floor and sheets and blankets are not clean and shower head holder was broken and not available at least. Our room was not a problem but the whole hotel smelled like toilet. Honestly, I don't recommend if you want a comfortable stay. But if it's not, you can get low facility hotel at reasonable price.

Very basic hotel, just a double room with a little bathroom and a TV, but that was all we needed really! Fairly good location and in what seemed a safe area. We had some issues in trying to check out, as the reception was not opened (though all information had said it would be).

We were late for the 8:30 check in, so the hostel left the front door open and our key in the room. That was really nice for us, but definitely diminishes the security. Otherwise, pretty clean. No complaints on that front.

Not sure why this place has that bad of a rap. You get what you pay for at this place, the bed was comfy and the room didn´t smell, the shower head wasn´t connected to the wall which was a bit annoying. It wasn´t very nice but it´s not expensive so if you´re looking for a cheap place in a decent area of Bordeaux, this is the place for you. Just don´t expect a 5 star hotel.

It was a dirty room with a toilet linked to the same room as the the room, so you could hear the person you're staying with doing his business and having a shower. The problem is that it is the only hostel in the area and is probably the cheapest place to stay at in bordeaux. The beds are really small too.

Newly renovated and pretty chick for a hostel. We stayed in a two story studio like room that had a skylight and exposed wooded floors that gave the room character. The staff was helpful and accommodated us without reservations.

Jaimie is f***ing awesome! He makes you feel very welcome and wants to help in any way he can. Seriously- just stay here. stop looking for another place and book this NOW!!!!!!!!!!! The washing machine is free and Jaimie even gave us detergent for free. You can rent a surf board and a wet suit for 5 euros. He recommends a lot of great places to go and even gives you discounts. Para Jaimie- Nostoros encantamos a usted! Muchas gracias por todo!
