A place with real character in Jaisalmer. The hotel is in a 500 yr old Haveli, so the rooms have a real historic feel, while the location is great - right next to the Jain temples. Clearly being such an old building you shouldn't expect all the mod cons, but it's worth it. The best thing about the place is the staff, however - the manager, Chimi, is a very helpful and genuine person to speak to and the camel treks the hotel organises in the desert are excellent. Recommended.

We loved our stay here. The room was great and the rooftop terrace was amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

The 500 year old Haveli is a very charming hotel with only 6 rooms. We stood in room no. 1 which is the only not renoveted room. But the feeling was like a Maharadja. It is a very quiet place to relax, so we stood one day more as planned. The owner, Mr. Jimmy, is a very friendly and helpful young man. He told us so much of the history of his Haveli. The food was the best we have had in India. The young waiter, his name is Kishor, was so attentive and made us allways smiling .
