The most remarkable hotel I've ever stayed in. While it won't offer you the cleanliness of a big hotel chain it offers charm that no chain could ever live up to. Splash out and book the deluxe room, which will get you a balcony overlooking the lower city. Breakfast was up to standard but there seemed to be very little Indian food on the lunch/dinner menu at the time of our stay. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone travelling in Rajasthan.
Great hotel located in the city wall with top views! Pros * Located in the city walls with a great view of the city from the HUGE rooftop dining area * Great staff with good local knowledge * Super peaceful inside the city walls so a great break from the daily hustle and bustle Tips * I stayed in the Maharaja Room - great room that sleeps 3 * If used Trotters for the Camel Safari they were great
Awesome location inside the fort and room was really nice for the price paid. Restaurant views and setting are superb, food was fairly average though. Would stay here again for sure, would probably choose to eat elsewhere though.
Pro: Good location, good view on the rooftop, average meal. Con: We have confirmed with the hostel via mail and phone call that their staff will pick us up at railway station, but didn't show up, finally we have to find our way to hostel.
Great view overlooking the city from inside the fort. Room was large and there was a nice veranda to enjoy the view. Bathroom was basic and bed was hard but would stay there again. Staff was helpful.
Great place to stay with nice castle from view of the town/dessert. Nice staff and i managed to get my dessert tour arranged from here.
The hostel was very good and would stay here again. The location is amazing as you are staying in the fort. Also, I am pretty sure we overpaid a little for the camel trip through them, but they took us to a location where there was no other people, taught us how to make some indian food, and when we came back the next day, they gave us a room for two hours to clean up. So, with all the extra stuff included, it was well worth the extra money. The restaurant food was a little overpriced though.
