this was an excellent choice of hotel for our two day stay in Agra. lovely view of the Taj Mahal from our room, manager very helpful. food poor but over all a great place to stay
good 1. excellent location next to Oberoi 2. walking distance to Taj Mahal 3. Restaurant /spa and massage facilities in the hotel. 4. Attentive staff 5. Inspite of being very cold they do not have heaters!

10 min walk from the Taj and as that's the only thing you'll be in Agra for there's not many other criteria! Can't top the location and the hotel itself was clean, comfortable and had decent facilities. Restaurant was ok but nothing special, useful if you are after an easy option. No hassles and does what it needs to do. Would stay again.
Bathroom stank of sewage. But overall not that bad for the price and location.
Great location only ten minute walk to the Taj. Good basic but clean room although air conditioning unit too noisy to leave on overnight. The food was terrible and the rooftop "restaurant" lacks any atmosphere despite the two young lads who did their best at carrying every order up 4 flights of stairs. The roof top music playing 15 hours a day was irritating due to the same Indian instrumental track being on constant repeat. This could be heard from my room.
Great location with nice views of the taj from the roof. Room was good with a fan and ac, restaurant was decent. They organised us a taxi to Ranthambore for 50,000 rubees after we bartered them down from 65,000 rubees which seemed expensive to us but we didn't really have any other options as all the trains and buses were booked.
Pretty Average hotel. The one thing that made me mad was the "travel desk" guy. We asked about train tickets to Khajuraho and he quoted us a 1900 rupees each. We told him we wanted to think about it and let him know because we knew we could get so much cheaper and he was quite rude. He said now or no so we just said no and went and got our train tickets from the station for 700 rupees total. The young servers in the restaurant are awesome! Very nice young men!
We had a very pleasent stay! They also arragned transportation for us back to Delhi, the driver drove like a maniac but we arrived alive without ripoff or any stops at shops on the way. We did however loose one wing mirror..

Decent, clean place to stay. I had a fan room which was fine. Excellent price given the location at Taj East Gate. Appreciated PC and printer. No WiFi and lockers in room. Restaurant food no good. Nice rooftop bar though. Good choice for a 1-2 day visit to Taj etc.
Rooms were expensive and terribly dirty. Ac not working. Reception uselessly luxurious in comparision with the rooms
I can understand the comment about the uselessly luxurious reception hall compared to the average looking rooms. The AC unfortunately did not work but in the 35° moist heat, we were just glad to have a fan and shower, and hang around the AC reception hall and ground floor restaurant. The staff was nice and let us change our booking when our flights were cancelled and arrived a day late! We deeply appreciated that!
