Amazing location, nice views of the Taj from rooftop and fairly quiet, clean and comfortable rooms. Upon our arrival after a long overnight journey we arrived to be told the room would be ready between 10 am and 12 noon, in actual fact we waited till gone 1 pm so that was disappointing and our only fault with the service we received.

Pretty rough on cleanliness. Also found three dead bugs on the floor in the morning. Decent location but there are others in the same area. If I had spent more than one night I would have moved places.
The location is fabulous. Great views from the rooftop and restaurant and friendly atmosphere.
Brilliant location in the nicer part of town (east gate). Easy walk to Taj Mahal. Best rooftop views, nothing is in the way and the East location meant that at sunset these views were especially beautiful. Most other rooftop views around South gate have other shabby rooftops blocking the view. Restaurant food was pretty poor. Would still really recommend as it was clean, good staff and brilliant location. Would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is a great location, we could see the Taj Mahal from our window and the roof top restaurant and considering the location the price was very responsible. However, it did feel like a run down motel. The actual hotel reception area and halls looks very nice, but the room we stayed in was grubby the bathroom was dirty and I don't think the bedding had been washed as we found hair on pillows. The towels were also grubby, we used our own. Ok to rough it for a night to see the Taj
Head to the top floor for an excellent view of the Taj Mahal, some great food, and excellent conversation with the coolest staffer around!
The main attraction is the absolutely stunning views of the taj from the roof top restaurant, after being shattered after the night train from varanasi a quick drink on the terrace upstairs and I was raring to go. The rooms are quite small and lack oxygen but for the price you can't really complain, excellent budget option.
A bit of a disappointment really. The room was small and didn't smell fresh The menu was quite overpriced compared to other similar accommodation that we'd stayed in You can't fault the roof terrace which has great views of the Taj Mahal. This is its single redeeming feature. Wifi is an additional cost and is only available in the lobby area and restaurant downstairs.
Staff is very nice and the garden of the hotel is a nice place to stay for reading, eating and talking. The Hotel needs some maintanace: the shower doesn't work properly, hot water didn't work Most of the time, and we had to ask for toweles and bed sheets.
The hotel has a great view from the roof top terrace and is only 600 meters away from the East Gate of the Taj Mahal and only 2 minutes from the ticket office and nowadays there is a free shuttle service from the ticket office to the entrance of the Taj Mahal, thus, the location is great! The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The rooms a simple but clean and the value for money is very good.
Hostel is very near to Taj Mahal, 5 min walk to eastern gate. Location is good, staff is very good. Roof top restaurant is awesome from where you can see Taj.
This hotel is very close to the Taj Mahal, exactly what we wanted. However is very old and the rooms need an urgen refurbished, at least the one we occupied. The roof was dirty, the same as the towels and the bedsheets.
Wifi doesn't work in rooms, but other than that the hotel was great and the location is hard to beat.
The room I was put in was not swept and had many dead bugs on the floor. More over the room(204) had a lot of insects (maybe due to the weather). The fan and cooler were only for namesake. I complained about this to the person in charge who after a lot of persuasion put me in another room(309which was much better. The staff is helpful but they took the request to change my room seriously only when I threatened to leave from the hotel at night itself. The food is OK, nothing too special about it.
Very close to the Taj Mahal, only about a 5-10 minute walk. Amazing view of the Taj from the rooftop balcony! Hotel room was large and clean. You have to pay for wireless internet. I would stay here again.
The hostel is very close to the east gate of Taj Mahal, within 10 minites' walk. The facility is good for the price range. We asked the receptionist a taxi or auto to collect us in the train station. She says that auto is not possible, only taxi. The taxi costs 250 Rs, which is quite pricey for the distance.

Excellent value for money. Best budget hotel weve stayed at in India. Staff were friendly but wizh we had chosen AC roomas non AC unbearable in July. Would recommend and stay again. Would be better if they hwad a lift as lots of stairs.
More like a hotel than a hostel/ guesthouse. Very clean. Friendly staff.
Good view of the Taj from the terrace, its a big hotel very close to the east gate, the guys who work there are very friendly. The only problem was that one guy at the reception told me I could stay until I have to to go the train station but the lady at the reception charged me extra and wasn't very friendly. Food at the restaurant is ok I stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms and air con didn't work properly, it was basically a noisy fan. I will stay again just because of the location.
